Eleven years of it
I grew up at Nesoddtangen, which means eleven years of crossing on the B10 to school and back, a third of them in the dark. So I have a slightly unromantic view of this boat: it is a bus that floats, and the people on it are going to work. But the crossing itself does something no sightseeing cruise quite manages, which is to put the whole city in one frame from a distance, twice, for about 23 minutes each way. If you take one boat in Oslo and want no commentary at all, take this one.
The quay history, briefly
